What is an Audiologist ?
An audiologist is a healthcare professional who has a degree, license, and certification in audiology (the science of hearing). An audiologist measures hearing, identifies hearing loss, and participates in the habilitation/rehabilitation of those persons with hearing loss.
Since 2002, our audiologists have offered comprehensive hearing services for children ages birth to 21 years old in East Tennessee and surrounding areas. Children's Hearing Center of East Tennessee has a history of identifying and serving pediatric patients with communication disorders. We focus on the special needs of children and their families, by providing quality clinical care in an environment that is both friendly and supportive. We partner with physicians, teachers, agencies, communication specialists, speech language pathologists etc. in an effort to meet our patients' individual needs.
